Barbering is an art and a lifelong skill that offers independence, creativity, and financial stability. With the industry's growth, new barbers are in high demand. Whether you aim to work in a professional shop, start your own business, or build a personal brand, barbering gives you the flexibility to create the career you want.
If you have a valid Pennsylvania Cosmetology License, you can join our Barber Crossover Program. Complete 695 hours of barber-focused training to earn your barbering license and enhance your skills.
In Pennsylvania, you need a valid cosmetology license to join the Crossover Program. Cosmetology hours alone can't be transferred. Without a license, you'll need to enroll in the full 1,250-hour Barber Program.
At this time, Bonez Barber Academy does not yet accept federal student aid such as FAFSA or GI Bill® benefits. However, we strive to make our program accessible through flexible payment plans and guidance on outside funding options for eligible students. Students may also choose to pursue private loans through their own financial institutions or seek assistance from the Pennsylvania Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) if eligible.
Explore our programs, policies, and admissions process in the Bonez Barber Academy School Catalog—available online or by request. For specific questions, contact our Admissions Office. We're here to help you get started.
